Calin Chiriac, Attorney

Calin joined Bernard & Brassard in 2024 after working as a lawyer-researcher for the judges of the Superior Court for three years, an experience that allowed him to develop an in-depth knowledge of family law. He advises and represents clients in legal proceedings related to divorce or issues involving child custody, child support and parental authority, among other matters.

Persevering and detail-oriented, Calin is committed to the safeguard of his clients’ rights while ensuring that they clearly understand every stage of the judicial process.

Calin is part of our firm’s litigation team and remains constantly attentive to recent developments in legislation, case law, and legal doctrine. Passionate about writing and the intricacies of legal language, he is currently completing the microprogram in legislative drafting at Université Laval, focused on techniques for drafting laws and regulations. Finally, he stays involved in social causes and was awarded the Anne-Saris Prize in 2022 by the Mobile Legal Clinic in recognition of “an exceptional commitment to defending the values of social justice”.
