“I knew that articling at Bernard & Brassard was going to be a very stimulating and rewarding experience, since prior to passing my bar exam, I had worked there as a paralegal in the corporate law team.”
I also knew that returning to the “Corp” team would be a real pleasure, given the strong, friendly bonds I’d forged with all my colleagues. The professionals made a point of including me as much as possible in major files, giving me the opportunity to get involved by showing me confidence and support as I took on new challenges. Suffice to say, I was not disappointed.
What I didn’t know, however, was how much I was going to enjoy my internship experience in the litigation sector. Admittedly, I didn’t join their team, but if you have a particular appetite for this sector, you’ll love it. The involvement of our articling supervisor, Me Pierre-Marc Malette, his mentorship and his availability will make this experience particularly stimulating: representations in classcourts, preparation of files and examinations, in short, enough to satisfy any law student.
What’s more, the professionals made it a point of honor to let me accompany them to court, to the Settlement Conferences and to client appointments. And what can I say about the support staff:, always available and ready to help.
All this to say that you will be pampered at B&B without a doubt.
